About Me

My name is Michelle and I live in Florida.  I have two great kids and one awesome husband of 11 years.  We are a homeschooling family of 5 years now.  My kids have never gone to regular school.  I LOVE homeschooling.  This doesn’t mean that I don’t ever get frustrated with being a homeschool mom…believe me, no one is perfect including me.  I just keep pressing on, pushing through the problems, relying on God for strength because I believe in what I am doing and I really do love spending all day with my kids and learning along with them.

That’s the best part of being a homeschool parent for me, learning WITH them.  When I was a young child I knew I wanted to become a teacher when I finished high school…but I got married and had my kids young, and decided that instead I would just stay at home and teach MY kids.  It was the best decision I ever made.

Aside from homeschool, I also enjoy cooking, yoga, reading, writing poetry, and organic living (when I can afford it).
